Two great opportunities to join our Agri Business Team as we’re hiring Agri Regional Development Managers to drive business in the Munster and Leinster area.

We’d like to hear from self-driven insurance professional, with a passion for all things Agri with proven ability to build relationships to develop and deliver growth targets. Reporting to Head of Agriculture, Christy Doherty, these Regional Business Development Managers will implement a Regional Plan to grow AXA Agri-business aligned to expectations for sales, service and profitability. Other responsibilities include:

  • Promote AXA Agri-business externally to secure new partnerships
  • Within your Region work with all branch sales teams advising and supporting colleagues throughout the Branch Network
  • Be agile and responsive to all Agri-business sales requirements within your Region
  • Ensure compliance to Company standards, policy, procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Provide best advice acting at all times in the best interest of AXA Agri-business, fully understanding customer needs and requirements for targeted business segments
  • Achieve a very high level of product knowledge and understanding to support agri-business sales
  • Take responsibility for personal development by consistently and proactively improving personal sales ability, technical skills and industry knowledge

About the person

We are looking for strong relationship managers with thorough knowledge of agricultural market: 

  • 5 years plus experience Agri/Commercial Insurance sales and service experience
  • APA Commercial General Insurance qualification with up to date CPD record, essential
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with client stakeholders at all levels
  • Be a strong communicator, with excellent presentation skills and proven ability to listen and interpret customer needs
  • Be highly motivated displaying energy, enthusiasm and a strong desire to succeed
  • Possess a proactive “can do” attitude with excellent interpersonal skills, making naturally good first impressions
  • Excellent time and territory management, organisational and planning skills
  • Possess a keen attention to detail
